50th Anniversary - Grant Park

Our concerts are presented to the greatest diversity of audiences of all socio-economic levels and of all ages - from young school children to senior citizens.

No admission tickets are sold. But many of our appreciative audiences support us by joining in membership of the tax-exempt Chicago Chamber Orchestra Association.

There are many reasons for supporting us. Here are some:

Chicago Chamber Orchestra Concerts

--	provide a cultural service to those who cannot afford the high price of expensive concert tickets

--	attract new audiences who experience live classical music for the first time

--	preserve our cultural heritage of great music with adventurous programming

--	encourage contemporary composers with commissions and performances

--	serve as a showcase for Chicago’s many superb jobbing musicians

--	feature soloists of international rank as well as debuts of outstanding young talents

--	are based on a budget that allots 85% to musicians’ salaries and music materials
